A letter from the owner…
Some 32 years ago we settled down, with all 3 kids being born here.
Went to kindy up the road, then primary and high school just a stone's throw away.
Their mates would call in on the way to school to pick up the kids, or watch some cartoons together on the couch before school, watching them while I cooked breakfast in the kitchen. As they grew, we would walk together and chat. Then when I started back at work, they could walk home, and we would meet for afternoon tea in the backyard, lounging away while playing about in the pool on a summer's day.
Then came the first cars, and we made room to park all five cars safely in the front area. Eventually, we decided a massive shed for the kids to tinker with their cars would be a bit of fun, but of course, they just wanted to play video games with their friends. We powered it, added internet connection, and then the boys turned it into their man cave.
They would make their way to the city by train, only a short drive, and Mum would be happy to do the train run or even pick them up at any time in the city.

• Multi-purpose room with built-in wardrobe and air-conditioning, door access to front of home
• Well-equipped bathroom with bathtub, adjacent a separate toilet
• Three bay carports (single & double)
• Internal laundry, two water tanks, 1 x 5,000L and 1 x 3,000L
• Large entertaining area, access to sparkling inground pool
• 14 solar panels, 4.4kW solar system
• Powered insulated shed with dual roller doors and accessible via side access
Sadly, they have all grown up now and have their own lives but the story repeats as the granddaughters' swim for hours in the pool, and play on their bikes out the back, exactly as their father had done those many years ago that seems like yesterday.
After those 32 years, we realised our home wasn't made from bricks and beams, but by our hopes and dreams.
