“So close to the city yet it's quiet.”
I've lived in South Perth since 1982 growing up in my parent's house. Living on one of this great suburb's quiet streets it offers a life less vibrant than areas such as Subiaco but yet you are near everything you need. Sure it is quiet but that why we like it. Also, there is no snob factor, there is an abundance of beautiful character homes and a mix of cheaper or more expensive homes suit to many tastes. I walk my dog most nights with no problem, never been broken into...I don't anyone who has but I accept it does happen. Having a business in the area I can also confirm that most people in the area are working class, friendly and most seem happy to help you or just talk. With some lovely parks, natural features such as the foreshore and you can even launch a boat on the Swan River and go to Rottnest Island. Most people who move here do stay.
