Wattle Grove is a lovely street to live in. Close to the bay and Altona beach, with great walking and cycling paths nearby. The birdlife is exceptional, with bird sanctuaries close in both bayside directions. The area also has many excellent coffee shops, some within easy walking distance. Altona village nearby has good shopping facilities. Seaholme is a quiet and safe area, with several schools within easy access - a great place to raise children. It is also very close to the CBD, with a train station only 5 minutes walk away.
