A 10,500ltr rainwater tank is filled from the water collected from the house. The house runs off bore water which pumps at 12,000ltr per hour and currently the water level is 33m deep. The submersible pump and the bore are located in the generator shed. The bore has never been dry.
The bore pumps water to an elevated 4,000ltr tank, or a 22,000ltr tank or can be used when watering the garden. Gateway valves allow the bore water to go where directed.
A 4 bay car shed adjoins the houseyard. 1 bay has been enclosed and is currently used as a lockable shed for storage of garden equipment.
For those bigger items a large 10m x 7m steel construction machinery shed is close by. It has a skin of corrugated iron and could easily be converted to stables. The irrigation pipes stored in the shed are included. Adjoining the machinery shed is a basic set of cattle yards with a loading ramp.
The 80 acres are subdivided into 8 paddocks plus the large house yard. Some paddocks have a light covering of timber and others are quite open. There is a good covering of natural grasses. The owners have successfully run 20 cows and progeny in the past. Each paddock has water available.
Although off the grid and in a secluded location inclement weather has never prevented the owners from travelling to town.
School bus is accessible from the end of Inlet Road. Mail service is provided 3 times per week.
