Dear Mother
It's been a while since we last spoke, but I wanted you to hear it from me, that I have fallen in love again!
I have stumbled across "the most beautiful place on earth" just north of the Pokolbin Vineyards. It is a place where the earth finishes and heaven starts. What a location and what a view!
The home is something that grandmother used to own, well sort of, yet much more modern and much larger than I remember. It has been completely renovated, with all of the modern conveniences one could ever ask for. It is the perfect period home, 4 bedrooms, large living spaces and return verandas that signify class. Both of the bathrooms are divine while still keeping in with the look and feel of yesteryear. The high ceilings don't close you in and the kitchen, well, oh my goodness, I'm yet to see a nicer one!
The living spaces at the rear of the home open out to a truly magnificent sight...there's the view again, and I can see myself growing old on that deck looking into the distance. I wish you were here.
The 5 acre lot is just the right size, however it starts to fill up with the pool that is to die for and a very large "teenagers retreat/studio" that could allow the rest of the family a chance to visit and stay a while, but not too long.......... we want this to ourselves!
I'm about to go for a walk through the orchard now and say hello to the ladies, I know how much you loved your chickens all those years ago......just thought I would pen a note out for you rather than keep it to myself, missing you as always,
