I am here to report that "Paradise Lost" has been found and is alive and well on the banks of Cattle Creek, just a stones throw from Finch Hatton.

Yes the accommodation is rustic at best, lacks Council Approval and may not suit all, however, the adjacent rain forest and the year round crystal clear running water of nearby Cattle Creek more than compensates.

The demountable style construction comprises a ground level storage room which includes solar power battery storage. The upper level comprises two bedrooms, store room and a bathroom/toilet
plus a separate kitchen and dining/living area with pizza oven and pot belly stove. Most of the on site chattels will be included in the sale.

The Peoples Road Cattle Creek causeway crossing is open for half the year during the sugar crushing season, so only a couple of minutes to Finch Hatton. Bitumen access via Gorge Road is available year round.

Ideal week-ender with good fishing and swimming holes in Cattle Creek. Great site with potential for permanent living and/or B & B. Rural retreats adjacent to permanent water are rare let alone permanent running water.
