$350m to $400m redevelopment plan for Perth's Garden City Booragoon - AMP Capital plans to redevelop Garden City Booragoon, with a $350 to $400 million redevelopment enhancing the retail offer of Perth's iconic shopping centre.

Significant work on the development plans for the centre will now get underway and AMP Capital will work closely with the City of Melville council and other planning authorities to ensure Garden City Booragoon remains the premier retail destination in Perth. The centre has ranked number one for specialty sales per square metre in Western Australia for over 10 years. Perth is the fastest growing capital city in Australia and Garden City Booragoon is an important part of the retail landscape in Perth and for the local community.
The redevelopment is expected to boost the already booming Western Australian economy and is estimated to create 450 new jobs during construction and 850 new permanent retail jobs.
