A nearby boat ramp caters for serious fishers heading out to Mercury Passage and beyond or simply curl up with a good bock, kick back and let the world go by.

Terrific waterside nature walks stretch from the rolling surf of Spring Beach to the south (and back) of the Prosser River along West and East Shelly Beaches, and are alive with native bird life. Or a spirited bike ride around the precinct will provide a healthy lifestyle with plenty of regular exercise to work off holiday largesse and keep the family pet well exercised.
