In the description we mention that the main, double bricked home consists of 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, but there’s much more to it than that.

Enter through the white gated fencing and be welcomed by a beautiful pond in front of the stately, very neat home with a large front patio.

On entry, there’s a large family/theatre room with a fireplace to the right and a small office space straight ahead of the front door.

To the left is another large family room, with a fireplace and reverse cycle air-conditioning. This room flows through to the dining/kitchen area. The private bedrooms and bathrooms lead straight off the tiled area. Immediately to the right is a very neat, modern family bathroom, consisting of a large shower and basin. The toilet suite is separate and located in the left corner of the main corridor.

The first bedroom is queen size, roughly 3.5 x 3.5 sqm, with built in robes. The second bedroom is a mirror image of the first while the large main en suite with reverse cycle air conditioning is at the far end of the corridor for added privacy. The room is roughly 5x3 sqm, with a large walk in robe and very neat shower, toilet suite and basin.

The main home is surprisingly light and bright due to large windows throughout and a skylight in the kitchen. Other than the patterned carpets in the two lounge areas, the rest of the home has modern vinyl flooring or tiles. It feels a lot more modern than a home built in 1979, but the best features of buildings in this era is thankfully still intact. The two lounge rooms, pantry, enclosed patio and laundry room is delightfully oversized.

The Hardie Plank studio is next to the main home. It’s pretty basic with two separate rooms (roughly 3x3 sqm each) and an open plan area, old style bathroom with shower, basin and separate toilet suite and a laundry area. One of the rooms has built in robes and the other a free standing clothes cupboard. The studio opens out into a workshop and garage area. There’s a single garage door but it’s a double garage space with a powered workshop at one end. A cute trellis marks the private front patio. Please note that this is described as a studio and not a granny flat. This extension has been there for more than 30 years but the necessary permit for a granny flat is not in place.

You may have noted that there’s a brick paved road all the way from the main entry past the side of the main home to the studio.

Next to the studio is a double garage size, green shed with two sliding doors.

Access to the rest of the back of the yard is over the lawn. They’ve installed a gate to keep pets safely in the backyard as the other side of the home is also gated. This ensures they stay secure, even if the main front gate is left open.

*There is another entrance to the back yard from a gravel road next door to this property. The current owners got permission to take their boat from the big shed at the back through this gate so hopefully the new owners can organise something with the neighbour as well.

Let’s get onto the other sheds in the backyard.

There’s a partly enclosed, rough 3 bay shed right at the very back. They used it for general storage and store wood for the wood fires in the home.

The permitted shed on the opposite boundary is about 3 garages in width, roughly a 10x6 m. The right hand side is open, the middle area a workshop and the left is where they keep their boat. There is a single opening door at the front to get the boat out. Secondary access to the enclosed sheds is through a door at the back of the open shed. It is powered but doesn’t have a concrete floor.

Lastly, there’s two very neat, smaller sheds closer to the home. One of them were used to store a beloved motorbike (no power) while the other was a powered art workshop.
