Where else on the Eastern Seaboard of Australia can you still buy a beachfront property at around $500 0000? It is in the as-yet almost undiscovered seaside village of Cowley Beach. The 2021 Census says that the population was 65 people. I believe 150 is probably closer to the mark.

Cowley Beach is a seaside village located approximately 20 minutes North of Mission Beach and about the same South of Innisfail. The boat ramp is one of the closest points to the Great Barrier Reef and the Barnard and Dunk Island Group are just 20 minutes away. The fishing is extraordinary. The bedrooms are generous. You can imagine cousins and in-laws strewn all over the place on summer holidays.

Enjoy it now and in the future, you may decide to make the most of this unique location by doing a complete reno or rebuild to create the beach house in the beach location of your retirement or holiday dreams.

The annual family Christmas get-together here will get bigger and bigger every year as the word gets out amongst the relatives about what a piece of paradise this place is. The memories will last a lifetime.
