This amazing building was constructed C 1834 and is located in a gorgeous Heritage village just off the Midlands Highway between Launceston and Hobart. Along with a main bar, bottle shop and accommodation, the current owners have expanded the business with the inclusion of a bakery which now boasts National Award winning pies.
The main bar area has been transformed into a dazzling tribute to Marilyn Monroe and the colourful flair of the 50s and 60s. Even the toilets have become a ‘must-see' stop for tourists! A licenced bottle shop is alongside the main bar area and there is off street parking for 15 vehicles. Entertainment is provided with a full-sized billiard table and an outside area would be ideal for a beer garden.
The TKO Bakery has seating for around 28 customers and has recently been refurbished with a fascinating tribute to the life and works of Errol Flynn. A wood heater provides a cosy atmosphere and there is an outdoor eating space with kids play area just outside. The large, well-appointed commercial kitchen has excellent storage and plenty of work space.
Accommodation is provided for travellers in the form of 7 rooms, all en suite. The rooms are located on the second floor and guests have access through a front hallway separate from the bar and bakery. There is a recreation room and private breakfast room available for the guests too.
