What's around Shelley Way

House description

“Entertainers Delight or The Ideal Family Home”

Looks can be deceiving and you should never judge a book by its cover.....2 very well known quotes and they definitely apply to this very unassuming (from the front) home. Living just a few houses away, I drive past it most days and have always wondered what was" beyond the walls" and to say we were extremely surprised when we finally got to see this gorgeous family home was an understatement.
On arrival you are greeted by a welcoming front porch ( a glass of wine in hand and changing views at the end of the night would be glorious, but keep reading to understand what I mean), and a gorgeous panelled door with stained glass leadlight windows, a lovely change from the usual plain door entry. To the front of the home is a seperate lounge/theatre room, located to the right of the master suite which provides the perfect private parents wing and did we mention the home is slightly elevated and West facing? Imagine the spectacular sunsets you are going to see here!
The master bedroom is carpeted and spacious with ensuite and walk in robe and whilst the whole house has ducted evaporative air conditioning, this room also has a reverse cycle air conditioner for extra comfort.
Walk on through to the open plan Kitchen, Family and Dining area (there is also an entry to the lounge from the meals area) and you will be very impressed with the size and quality of these rooms, they are the perfect family living space with gorgeous new wood floors, a brand new HUGE kitchen with downlighting, stone benches, including breakfast bar and cupboard space galore...... no shortage of space here and you may even struggle to fill them all. The dining area is located to one side of the kitchen and the family room to the other so the kitchen really is the central hub of this home.
But wait there's more....this home also has a really large games room with stunning exposed beams and built in bar and at the moment the perfect accompaniment - a pool table, with plenty of space to still include a lounge, exercise equipment or whatever your needs are.
Then there is the "piece de resistance" The magnificent 'bespoke' or 'purpose built' entertainment area with ginormous pitched patio and breathtaking supporting poles and beams. The sellers love it so much they are going to get the same builder to build them another one in their new home.
The backyard is tiered with magnificent limestone blocks into 2 sections with the entertaining area on the lower level and a family size lawn area on the top level, perfect for the kids and dog. This home has a large powered shed to the rear which is the perfect 'man cave' or 'she shed', workshop for a tradie or just extra space for storage and the gardens and surrounds have been designed to be low maintenance for ease of living.
Located across the road from Santich Park which is full of bird life, kids, dogs and people and also offers a junior Footy Club and Little Athletics plus 2 shaded playgrounds, basketball hoop and undercover areas to sit, this home is also close to public transport and walking distance to a handy service station for all those late night last minute things.
Don't get us wrong, there is still some updating to be done but the home is immaculate having been freshly painted and cleaned and with a little more cosmetic work being done by the new owner, you are will have a potential "forever home" here.

We have lived in this vicinity for nearly 9 years and absolutely love it, it is centrally located with Coogee Beach and Woodmans Point just minutes away (3 and a 1/2 by car for us) and Gateways Shopping centre, Cockburn Central Train Station, the Freeway and new Cockburn Aquatic Centre (ARC) approx 8 kms away and Fremantle under 10km. Munster is known for its mix of old and new and some parts are still semi rural so its an awesome place to live away from the rat race of the city but close enough to enjoy all the amenities a family needs.

Call us on 0488 097 097 to discuss viewing times and we are happily working with all other agents and invite them to bring their buyers for a viewing.
