As the name suggests Coonaburra gums is situated in between the two well regarded grazing and cropping districts of Culburra (8km) and Coonalpyn (8km). The property is a stand-alone mixed farm with good quality pastures and a consistent fertilizer history. It has a blend of soil types with some rising sandy loams producing veldt pastures which stretch down onto loamy lucerne flats, having had a continual renovation program over the years. The farm also has a blend of strong red brown loams over limestone which can be cropped or grazed.

The farm also consists of gently rolling pink gum studded paddocks which have, nearly in all parts had a healthy amount of clay applied. This has helped with moisture retention and helped establish some quality lucerne pastures over this country. For the most part the property has been fenced to soil type, which allows for the strong limestone country to be available for cropping.

Currently the property is serviced by secure mains water, this is remotely monitored giving comfort that any leaks can be noticed very quickly. An added benefit is that the good quality artesian bore water could be accessed underneath, with neighbouring properties either side of the farm having done so in recent times.

The property has been in the same family since the late 70's when purchased partially cleared and has consistently produced quality meat and wool over that time. Currently running between 1200 and 1300 ewes and over 400 acres under crop or renovation. A successful livestock carrying business has been run out of the property with shedding to compliment.

The large workshop/implement shed (15m x 18m) is quite capable of housing sizeable machinery. This is backed up by a longer and higher implement shed (14m x 28m). The older pig sheds have been converted into storage for farm equipment.
