The land has been actively farmed over the last 180 years. The soils are renowned in the area for their high quality cattle grazing pastures. Our free range cattle were highly sought after at the cattle markets.

It is also suitable for cropping and has been cropped with high yields of triticale, canola, oats and wheat these are comparably higher in protein than in other areas due to the high quality of the soil.

The property has excellent internal and external fencing which allows cropping and animal husbandry enterprises to be run concurrently.

It is sustained by three large dams each equivalent to approximately 3 gigalitres and more importantly has an underground aquifer of significant value as this enables the property to be drought proof. The natural springs feed into the dams which in turn provide water for the animals and crops. This underground aquifer is capable of providing approximately 12,000 -14,000 litres per hour of drinkable and high quality spring water which could also be commercially tapped.
