Yarraman Estate was first established in 1958 with cuttings taken and planted from the famed Penfolds vines located in Magill, South Australia. In 1967 the winery was constructed and was then known as “Dalwood Estate”. It was officially opened by the then Prime Minister of Australia Harold Holt in 1967. Since then the property has had a number of changes in corporate ownership and saw a complete refurbishment of the winery in 1999 - 2000 at an estimated cost of $10m. Located in the tourism and wine country of the Hunter Valley, New South Wales.
