The Hub is a fully licensed, traditional Italian woodfired pizza restaurant located in the Main Street of Derby, Tasmania. Stunningly renovated and completely transformed just 12 months ago to become the most welcoming, gorgeous and funky place in town, it really is The Hub! Derby is home to the Blue Derby trails which is widely recognised as Australia mountain biking capital, confirmed by the recent announcement of the returning Enduro World Series (EWS) to be held in March 2019. The previous EWS in 2017 saw over 5,000 visitors last time it was held and has added to the continued success of the visitor numbers to the area.

The large open dining and cosy lounge areas are separated by a double sided fireplace, the dining side of which is a inbuilt wood heater. This further adds to the character and ambiance of The Hub that makes it the most popular place in town.

2 bedrooms run off this dining area, one is currently used for storage, but potentially could be utilised in a variety of ways such as a private dining room for further seating.

Out the back is a freestanding bar and further seating, set amongst lush ferns and mood lighting. This known as ˜Percey's Bar' and has proven to be an excellent secondary service area during peak season times. It's also utilised for private parties and events such as hosting live musicians.

The kitchen has just been expanded, so whilst currently predominantly a pizza restaurant, The Hub is ready to be taken to the next level and is equipped to cater to a more comprehensive menu. A new walk in cool room and freezer have just been installed. There is real opportunity to develop this already well established and loved business.
