Yowah has hosted its Annual Opal Festival for over 20 years and attracts opal buyers as well as people that want to check out large amounts of opal from all over the world in one place! Band and festivities over 3 nights and days.

The birdwatchers group come to this small part of the world to see species that are rare and only attracted to the oasis in the desert as the bore springs run down the centre of the town which then leads to a dam that birds and wildlife treasure.
