8 Milton Terrace, Oak Beach QLD 4877

Boasting breathtaking sunrises unlike anywhere else, 8 Milton Terrace offers a special and unique spot to build your dream home. We warmly invite your offers.

At one hundred metres above sea level on the eastern slopes of Mount Garioch, the property towers over the ocean, drawing it closer, with nothing interrupting your gaze. The clearing faces due east, so the sun rises out of the Coral Sea and lands here first, every single morning.

Of the 1.41 hectares, a full acre has been cleared, contoured and prepared, with all of the hard work already done. Two flat house pads are cut and ready: a main site of approximately 1,200 square metres and a second of approximately 800 square metres, offering scope for a substantial primary dwelling together with a separate cottage, shed or studio. A pole home design would allow you to build out over the slope itself, extending your footprint and floating your living spaces above that sunrise view.

A feature rock retaining wall anchors the clearing, bore water supplies the site, and behind you the rainforest rises thick and unbroken toward the peak of Mount Garioch, a private green backdrop to a blue horizon.

Zoned Rural Residential under the Douglas Shire Planning Scheme, this is land prepared for one purpose: an impressive home between the rainforest and the sea, in one of the region's most tightly held coastal enclaves, minutes from the world renowned Port Douglas.
