- On 13 June 2008 the City approved a change of use for the site from 'Residential to Office' (DA0267/08). It appears like, to some degree, this use has been operating at the site. Therefore this use would be last and valid approval for the site;
- Use of the site as an Office, storage associated with an office (or equivalent) can continue to be carried out from the site without further approval;
- To use the site for residential purposes, a change of use application will be required. Such a use will be assessed against the objectives of the City Centre zone and the R-Codes. In my opinion, using this space for residential purposes could be supported on planning grounds but justification relating to the lack of vehicle parking and outdoor living space, would need to be provided.
- Queries relating to occupancy (health, safety, building etc) of the space for should be directed to [email protected] and [email protected] as necessary. I would recommend potential buyers make these enquiries as a change in the class of the building under the Building Code of Australia will likely require upgrades to the building.
