Welcome to 9 Barina Avenue, Mooroolbark, our family home and our mother’s pride and joy. It was built with the intention of being a secure base and a place of love, laughter and life.

The front formal room was our mother’s favourite in the house – we had to be very careful not to make a mess in there! The views from this room are beautiful and carry through to the master bedroom where there is a great walk-in-robe and an ensuite. The main bathroom has your own little garden ledge which is great to overlook from your claw-foot bath – bliss!

The kitchen is in the heart of the home, which meant mum knew where we were at all times – which was good and bad! As we grew the house did too, so upstairs we went. Our family room was big, built so that even the largest of family events could be held here. Christmas, birthdays and even a wedding! This room is unbelievable and has seen many amazing times. Come take a look – we would love for you to see the view. The remaining three bedrooms are at the back of the house which meant we never disturbed the adults if they were in the “formal lounge” entertaining.

Outside was where the magic happened with our very own fairy garden and undercover barbeque area. So many good times were had here or up by the pool. Another entertaining area overlooks the pool, so that mum could make sure we were all safe. All the gardens have been landscaped with love and there is nothing left for you to do but enjoy, relax and be with your family.

Our primary school was at the end of the street and high school is only a 15 minute walk around the corner. The local bus service comes up and around our street so we never wanted for anything.

We have loved this home, more than we can ever express but it’s time for a new family. Although we are sad to sell, we cannot wait to see who the new owners will be.
