Barham is 3 hours drive from Melbourne via the Calder highway and is on the Murray river. This 640 acre property is just 20kms north-west of Barham, 10kms of bitumen and 10kms of gravel road. The road is a no through road and this property is at the end of the road, so it is very private with no traffic past the property in any direction.

The eastern, northern and western boundaries of the property are all timbered grazing land. The southern boundary is a 4.5km frontage to Barbers creek which runs off the Wakool River. Barbers creek has never dried up even in the worst of the drought, as several farms depend on it for stock and domestic water, it is sometimes topped up from the Murray via another creek.

The land is open forest, with many large clear spaces, timber is red gum and black box, enough premium firewood for 500 years if you want. The land is suitable for grazing of sheep and cattle. There is abundant wildlife and birdlife, including kangaroos, wallabies, emus, goannas, feral fallow deer, rabbits and foxes.

The creek has Murray Cod, Yellowbelly and Carp and the fishing is good.

There are 3 cabins built for camping which are very comfortable. Two cabins have solar power for lighting. There is an LPG hot water service with shower and bath in one cabin. There are 4 rain water tanks and water can be pumped from the river. There is a waterless, odourless composting toilet in one cabin (Rotor-loo).

There is a large BBQ shelter/covered eating area, fitted out with 2 BBQs by the creek. Also a metal lock-up garage for secure storage of tools etc.
