Glendower Dam Project Land Disposal - Stage 2.


The Queensland Government will offer five more properties, once earmarked for the former Glendower Dam project around Beaudesert and Tabragalba for sale in the second stage of the open market sales program. The properties are a combination of large agricultural holdings, residential house and lifestyle properties.
The first stage saw the completed disposal sale of six properties at auction in June.
On Monday 6 August 2018 five more properties will be offered by auction. These properties comprise of two blocks of vacant land around 50 hectares each, a house on one acre and two substantial farms with frontage to the Albert River with irrigation licences, houses and sheds.
The two lifestyle blocks are adjoining and are both fronted by Beaudesert Nerang Road. While each is different, they all enjoy wonderful views and are characterised by rolling country. They are all open country with shade on the ridges.
There is a separate house on a one acre block (Sale Property 11) which is located in the middle of Sale property 10.
The two farms are ex dairy properties. Between them there are 11 freehold titles, five irrigation licences and excellent frontage to the Albert River. These are very good country with some strong river flats and excellent water storages.
The properties are located approximately 60km from Southport and 70km from Brisbane.
Ray White Rural Queensland's Peter Douglas and Ed Dalton, principal of Ray White Rural Beaudesert are again managing the sale process. "It is a very good mixture with properties in all price brackets" said Peter Douglas. Properties will be open for inspections on Sundays. The auction will be held in Beaudesert at the Council Centre on Brisbane Road at 11am on Monday 6 August 2018. More details are available from the agents.
