An organically certified landholding located in close proximity to Bowen and within a highly regarded mango growing region of Australia, Beaumont Plantation comprises a total land area of approximately 149.5* hectares, of which 49* hectares has been developed to mango trees.

Historically, Beaumont Plantation has supplied both fresh and processed mango products to the domestic market. Benefitted by well-renowned and highly regarded varieties, Beaumont Plantation has historically produced 32,000* trays of mangoes annually. Location
The subject property is situated 32km* west of Bowen and 42km* east of Collinsville

Local Economy
The town enjoys a diversified economy based on agriculture, fishing, tourism, and mining. Its unusually dry climate for a tropical location, plus its fertile alluvial soil, makes it the ideal place to grow a wide variety of small crops, including tomatoes, rockmelons, mangoes and capsicums. Outside the alluvial plain, much of the Bowen Shire is used for beef cattle. Just north of Bowen is the Abbot Point coal loading port. Coal mined inland of Bowen in
Collinsville and other towns in the Bowen Basin is brought by rail to a deepwater pier to be loaded on bulk carriers. Coal is exported mainly to China and India.
