Blue Poles, overlooking the Thone Valley, is the well known and "awarded" cafe gallery and bed and breakfast accommodation. The awards include Business Excellence Awards, Best Cafe North Coast and a continued finalist in the Restaurant and Caterers Association Awards. It is an enjoyable 35 minute drive through the glorious hinterland of Port Macquarie on the north coast of New South Wales.

Blue Poles has been established by its present owners as a cultural and gastronomic destination in the Greater Port Macquarie region.

The 20 acre property consists of a 58 seat, fully licensed cafe with a public entertainment licence, a separate gallery exhibition space and a private 4.5 star bed and breakfast accommodation known as The Blue Poles Studio. There is a current DA with plans to build further accommodation and convert a partially finished shed to a small conference retreat centre. The highly desired acreage of mixed farm land, open pastures, fertile river flats, fenced vegetable garden, 200 metres of river frontage to the Thone River (with a current irrigation licence - of great value), mixed forest, mandarin orchard (an existing source of income) and other fruit trees finish the picture! A commercial garlic crop is also grown annually.

Recent additions and improvements include a 11.5m saltwater solar heated pool, a water dispersing Reed Bed Septic system, a 2 bedroom teenage retreat and the owner's 2 bedroom cottage a little stroll down the garden path. Blue Poles' gardens have organic status with OGA and the large vegetable garden means the cafe always has fresh salads and herbs!
