Listed by Ray White Property agent Max Brown in Stawell and held in three land titles, Plover Park is available for purchase for the first time in over 50 years. Originally formed as part of the much larger historic Kout Norien Station, it was purchased by the vendors family in 1964, Plover Park has been managed under two successive generations of ownership.

With a frontage of over one kilometre along the bitumen Harrow-Clear Lake Road, the Plover Park property is considered top red gum farming and grazing land for both sheep and cattle, and is divided into four paddocks with the fencing in serviceable condition.

The only building is an older style, yet fully functional two stand shearing shed with the original set of sheep yards plus an additional two holding paddocks, conveniently situated right at the entry to the property.

There are eight dams, and double creek frontage that rarely runs dry due to the natural springs in the creek itself, which is capable of providing clean water suitable for stock usage.

Judged by Selling agent Max Brown as prime sheep, lamb and wool country with cattle potential as well this attractively treed, gently undulating country also holds scope for cropping under wheat, oats or canola. Held by the vendors since 1964 and conservatively farmed, the vendors have regularly supered the property and have built up the productive resources through reseeding with improved pastures including phalaris with great success.

Max Brown adds that with its location on the edge of the historic town of Harrow, the EOI (Expression of Interest) campaign affords an opportunity to secure quality land for the expansion of sheep or cattle enterprises and cropping potential.

"Due to family decisions to retire and having no family available to continue on their farming tradition the vendors have chosen to sell".

As opportunities like that of the Plover Park property infrequently come up in this part of the reliable southern Wimmera this EOI process will be one not to be missed.

EOI closing on the 17th of February at 4:00pm.
