The surrounding hills protect the lower areas from northerly, westerly and southerly wind but there is still cold air drainage to the East down Native corners Rivulet. More than 10ha of vineyard could be established on a variety of soils including mudstone, sand and doleritic soil over gravel.

A substantial colorbond shed with 3 roller doors has recently been built, adding to the old piggery which now has sheep yards installed and the steel hay or machinery shed. The property also has a new silo and fodder machine installed. This near new fodder machine with a retail value of $36K can be purchased for an extra $30,000 with the farm. With the help of the fodder machine and Kline irrigation, 50 cows with calves (pictured being fed)were carried through this last summer which was one where a lot of farms in the South completely de-stocked! The property also comes with a near new set of Tasrural cattle yards.

6 substantial water holes also complement the property being convenient for stock and the largest could help with storage of bore water. Being next to forestry blocks it is ideal for horses and bikes with many miles of roads at the back of the property. Being only 11.8 kms from Campania it is commuter distance to Hobart.
