If you are looking for a property where you feel you are miles from anywhere, then this attractive 31 acre (12.5 ha) property will be right up your alley even though it is only 8km from Rosedale. What I love is that you have approx. 540m along the freshwater section of Bottle Creek. This creek which, when not flowing, has semi-permanent shallow water holes.

There is a camp site which has a good shed. A fire destroyed some of the other structures. Being not far from the creek, it is a great area to set up camp - especially if you have children.

There is some boundary fencing and a good dam. Ranging between approx. 19m & 33m above sea level, the block is very private being located approx. 1km along a gazetted road. Quite open beneath the canopy, you could graze some cattle if you finished the fencing and wished to do so.

Vegetation is quite varied throughout the block. There is Spotty Gum, Ironbark, Blue Gum and Gum Top Box whilst along the creek is quite lush with bottlebrushes and sub tropical rainforest trees.

If you like fishing & boating, 23km will put you on a concrete boat ramp on tidal Baffle Creek.

Rosedale has a hotel, post office, hardware, a general store with fuel and a pre-school to grade 12 state school. The school also has a kindy.

Well known for good fishing, crabbing and prawns, Baffle Creek is an undiscovered area and thus quiet and peaceful. Bitumen roads from north or south, most of our blocks are 40 acres or larger which helps ensure your privacy. Crocodile & box jellyfish free, there are 4 tidal waterways and beautiful unspoilt beaches. Add a sub-tropical climate to all this and what do you have - paradise :)
