The owners of this prestigious allotment recall how the helicopter landed on the beach and men in suits carefully carried an attache case up to where he resided. Private documents, newspapers......Holt & Buust (artist & lover of beauty) used to sell coconuts and pineapples at the corner near the El Arish Tavern and their Portsea entourage, bikini-clad, would soak up the atmosphere of the local pub. Holt Close & Holt Road perpetuate his name in the area.
