Directions:
Now the easiest way to get there is that you take a left hand turn off Steve Irwin Way, Glenview. Past the BP service station then past the Par 3 golf course. Another kilometre away you will see a sign saying Old Caloundra Road. It is a gravel road and stay left all the way to a locked gate across the road. This road will lead you almost back to the Bruce Highway.

If you have a 4x4 you can immediately turn hard left and drive through the land over the easement and drive approximately halfway into the land itself or park opposite the gate on the right in a little clearing and walk in.

The first section is very flat which will lead to a cleared easement where you will cross for the second stage of the land. You should find some rusted garden sheds then past that you will see some man made mounds where they used to grow Paw Paw trees. Then to the left you should be able to find the lower dam. To the North-east you should be able to find the second dam which is almost to the top of the land.
