This is a wonderful retirement plan. A small 3 bedroom modern cottage in the mountains within an easy amble to the General Store or the hotel. The house is situated to take in the expansive valley views. From here, the word 'stress' will never again come into your vocabulary.
There is one neighbour on the top side .... actually, there might be another one on the bottom side. If there is, it certainly didn't make itself obvious. Perhaps the double lock up garage blocked them out from my view.
The house is open plan with a clean and pristine appearance. There are no built-in robes, but two rooms have alcoves where they could easily fit.
Maidenwell is a small country town in the mountains about 2.5 hrs drive west of Brisbane, or 1.5 hrs drive north of Toowoomba. It is the gateway into the Bunya Mountains, so an abundance of birdlife exists here. From here there are sealed roads into Nanango, Kingaroy and Yarraman.
So, book a viewing, and be prepared to be lulled into a sense a relaxation.
