WATERS
3 Earth Storage Dams provide stock water to the property. The cattle creek Dam is approx. 17,000 yards, boundary dam is approx. 5,000 yards and the Middle Dam is approx. 3,000 Yards. At the end of 2015, the cattle creek dam still had over 1.6m of water after a very dry year. Cattle Creek has seasonal water holes, generally lasting up to 5 months after reasonable rainfall.
COUNTRY
Cattle Creek has been destocked since the end of 2018, with good rainfall starting from Mid March onward. Country break-up is as follows. Approx. 1700 Acres of Softwood Scrub Soils, on the North/Eastern end of the Property, consisting mostly of Gidgee which has been either stick-racked or pulled. Buffel is the most dominate improved pasture along with a host of Legumes and native grasses. Approx. 1200 Acres of Open, Undulating Black Soil Downs country, with very little to no stone, with a large soil depth, hosting a mix of mostly Native Pastures, Butterfly Pea & associated Legumes, on the South/Western End of the property. Approx. 600 acres of Timbered Gidgee Channel Country on the North/Western end of the property, with a mix of Native Pastures & Buffel.
STRUCTUAL IMPROVEMENTS
Buildings comprise a Donga with Bedroom & Bathroom used mainly as a mustering camp with generator power. A steel set of Cattle yards,
located close to the Diamond Downs/Kilcummin Road, with ample
capacity. Boundary Fencing consists of mainly 4 barb with Steel &
Timber posts, with a portion of netting fence on the North/Western Side. Cattle Creek is fenced into 3 Paddocks, with all dams fenced into a Water square, then run into a laneway system that feeds back to the yards. Internal fences are mostly 3 Barb & Steel posts, from sound to in need of minor repairs.
