The Old Edith Post Office has been operating very successfully as a holiday letting over the past few years following a major renovation being undertaken by the owners. New plumbing, wiring, guttering & kitchen plus painting throughout and a garden rejuvenation have turned this into one of the districts feature properties.

The large country style kitchen has a showpiece Aga stove plus gas stove & small slow combustion wood heater. With plenty of cupboard & storage areas the eat in kitchen will cope with the largest family.
There are 3 sitting areas, one an enclosed front verandah which faces north & looks onto the garden. One of the more formal areas has an imported Colebrookdale slow combustion heater with the 3rd having a slow combustion wood heater.

3 of the 4 bedrooms are extra large, and two have open fireplaces. There is also an extra store room or study. The bathroom has a claw foot bathtub with shower over & a separate toilet.
Established garden beds, fruit trees & over 1000 daffodils plus blue bells add colour in spring. Water is provided to the house from a large concrete tank & garden water is supplied from a bore.
