This unusual, rare, private and undisturbed bushland block is entirely enclosed within the North East River Game Reserve. The land is situated on Flinders Island, on the peninsula between the North East River and Arthurs Creek. The North East River Game reserve is highly valued for its fishing, hunting, bird watching and magnificent scenery. The vegetation is in its natural state, consisting of undisturbed Tea tree woodland with occasional Eucalyptus. It is contiguous with the vegetation of the Game Reserve on the southern boundary.

There is approximately 140 metres of beautiful clean white sandy beach front along the North East River on the west side of the property. (This is the boat landing area). The land extends through to the Arthurs Creek on the east side, where there is another beach.

NOTE: There is no formed road access through the Game Reserve from the south making the land extremely private.

The land has a rise of approximately 10 metres with potential areas to put a dwelling / shed / storage unit (NOTE: Council approval would be required).

The land was retained as a private retreat when the remaining 56 hectares of the original parcel of land was purchased by the Parks and Wildlife Service of Tasmania to be added to the North East River Game Reserve in 1994/5.
