Located just eight kilometres from the Ipswich CBD and a 45-minute drive from Brisbane, the rising suburb is expected to be home to 120,000 people by 2031.
According to the Queensland Government, South East Queensland’s population is set to grow to around 5.5 million by 2041. Including Ripley, the population in Ipswich is growing at twice the rate of the rest of Queensland.
Corresponding with the population growth, investments in the region overall include $11.4 billion for education, $5.5 billion for transport, $12.3 billion for health and $8.8 billion towards community services.
