LAND: A perfect River holiday destination where there is everything the mighty Murray has to enjoy. What sets this location apart from others is its position. Sitting under the front verandah it’s hard to catch a glimpse of any other shacks, however, very easy to take in the views of the river and adjoining countryside. You won’t be battling others for quality riverfront space here with your own spot on the water which includes a new floating pontoon where you can dock the boat, fish from or the kids can do bombs till their heart’s content as there is a step ladder at the end. Access to the river front is uninterrupted and is no more than a minute or two’s walk from the shack or even quicker if utilising the Triton ute which may stay with the property. It really is a nice spot to be with the lovely green front lawn, mature hedges and bird attracting native plants. Having your own river recreational property that is well established, privately positioned, complete waterfront usage and affordable is still possible.
RESIDENCE: This delightful holiday home is very comfortable with its good sized living area that incorporates the lounge, meals and kitchen facilities. Serviced by a split system, air conditioning unit and a beaut, slow combustion heater, this area takes in the views on offer and invites in plenty of natural light. The bedrooms are a good size, comfortably accommodating a queen size bed in the main bedroom and a double with bunks in the second. Additional accommodation is by way of the on-site caravan. After a big day on the water, enjoy the convenience of the modern bathroom which is serviced by a temperature controlled gas hot water service. This holiday home can be purchased with items such as a wall mounted, flat screen television, a refrigerator, a freezer, furniture and other items that once again enhance the value of this opportunity and provide an immediate holiday retreat. When not enjoying the river activities, many hours will be spent on the front porch under the verandah. With room for the outdoor setting and the built-in barbeque, it’s an ideal spot to recline.
IMPROVEMENTS: Attached to the rear of the residence is a full length verandah which provides easily accessible undercover storage. Lockable storage, however, is by way of the 7m x 4m shed with concrete floor, power and lift up door where the boat and all the toys can be safely stored. A single carport adjoining gives further undercover parking. There is also a garden shed on a concrete base. A series of interconnected tanks provide ample rainwater for the shack, whilst river water is used for the gardens.
