This is an opportunity to purchase a piece of alpine history, the residence has 3 bedooms with possible scope for a fourth. The wetland plain has a wide variety of of native orchids and plants which have all been identified and cataloged, at last count in excess of 80 different plants some of which are very rare and known only to this area.

As the name implies there are spring fed dams and creeks which are home to a breed of fish known as MOUNTAIN GALAXIAS which we call 'Nudie Fish' because on sunny days they climb out of the water and lounge around on their backs. This enables them to absorb heat and thus regulate their body temperature, on being disturbed they flip back into the water.

The property is fully fenced with several lockable gates. All but 20 acres is under a Conservation Agreement with National Parks and Wildlife which means no grazing or logging is allowed. This also means that council rates are only payable on the 20 acres which includes the house block and one additional block on the north boundary.

Mountain wildlife and birdlife abound due to the safety of the area.
