Tocumwal is situated on the banks of the Murray River has a population of approx. 1,890.

Grain receival depot is situated in Tocumwal & livestock marketing centres at Wodonga, Shepparton, Deniliquin & Finley.

Gently undulating country boasting red sandy loam rises with an excellent balance of rich alluvial soils in the lower areas.

TIMBER
The property is attractively treed with an excellent blend of shelter timber including river red gums , sugar gum, grey & yellow box to heavier bushland areas being approx. 1800 acres. Current management techniques has seen these areas fenced off for grazing and timber harvesting.

STATE OF THE ART IRRIGATION

1200 t of lime and Gypsum have been applied over the past 3 years with excellent improvements seen water usage efficiencies and in crop yields.

LIVESTOCK
Current enterprise consists of 2500 ewes, predominately merinos, producing composite lambs with the ewe portion retained to convert the flock to a self-replacing composite flock.
This practice best utilizes the grazing crop rotation, stubbles and irrigated summer pastures with a percentage of the lambs sold as suckers and the balance carried over for the autumn/winter markets.
