This zone aims to protect, manage and restore areas with special ecological, scientific, cultural or aesthetic values and provide for a limited range of development. Extensive agriculture and home occupations are permitted without consent. The following land uses are allowed (with consent): agriculture, animal boarding or training establishments, bed and breakfast accommodation, camping grounds, dual occupancies (attached or detached), dwelling houses, farm stay accommodation, recreation facilities (outdoor), rural industries and rural workers dwellings.
