Gently sloping then rising up to steep escarpments, being the Nandewar Ranges. Soils are predominantly black and red basalt although one small area is used as a quarry for private road use. Timber is mainly Box, Kurrajong, Wilga and Ironbark. The cropping area currently is 500 acres sown to Lancer Wheat with this area developed with rollover banks. Grazing area at present having a good coverage of medics with some of the steeper areas being Buffel grass.
