. Winnathee Station, Broken Hill NSW 2880

Located approx. 90km west of Milparinka and approx 383km north of Broken Hill fronting the NSW/SA border. The station is ideally suited to sheep and cattle and has enjoyed a long history of carrying both with facilities to suit.
The station features 5 major creek courses dissecting from east to west and provides valuable flood out to the swamps and low lying areas. There are 3 major bores servicing a fully integrated pipeline system to storage tanks, troughs and turkey nest dams and water holes. The station is supported by 11 additional earth tanks and the 5 creeks to support catchment areas.
The station has a blend of open plains with sectors of parallel dunes of red clayey sand with alluvial flats between. A body of vegetation consists of Mitchell Grass, Cannonball, Copperburr, Salt and Blue Bush with perennial grasses and herbage. Timbers include Box, Mulga, Native Pine, Bullock Bush and Acacia.
The station has 2 sets of cattle yards and the main sheep yards adjacent the 5 stand shearing shed. There are additional working sheep yards throughout the station for seasonal handling.
An excellent 15 roomed shearers quarters has mains power and good facilities. The 4BR homestead is cement sheet clad and is air conditioned and spacious in design. Ancillary outbuildings include workshop, fuel sheds, plant storage and sundry shedding for storage.
Winnathee provides versatility for both sheep and cattle and offers a station with a good balance of country and vegetation with a good water reticulation system.
