Yallembee was taken up in 1921 by WT (tom) White who served in the original battalion that landed in Gallipoi. He came home in 1919 and was granted a soldier settlers block ( 1000 acres) which still forms part of the farm today.From the humble beginnings the White family expanded the property over the years, culminating in 38,000 acres, a testament to the wonderful management skills and excellent natural soils of the original farm. His Grandson Bruce White has continued in his footsteps and the property is well recognized for his fabulous farming practises.
