Location:
50km North West of Tilpa on Wanaaring/Tilpa Road, 12km North off main road Gazett roadway.

Country: Generally flat to sand hill rises and semi open under stony red loam country. Being app. 70-30% Paroo and Cuttaburra channels as well as local swamps. Large area being Yamaramie Lake, open self mulching, grey/black soil, lignum. Lake shore line fringed with Box and Coolabah scatted Yapunyah in channels.
Red country lightly timbered with belah, scattered mulga—rosewood, leopard wood, Hop Bush on high sand hills. Channel country growing huge body of natural herbages and grasses. Native millet - codia grass, pig weed, array of clovers, red soil, copper burr, trefoil, cannon ball and buffel grass.

Watered by 5 earth dams. 3 major dams de-silted in March 2019. Yamaramie Lake filling from the Paroo and Cuttaburra channel—river system on history are replenished in major flows on average every 5years (last flood 2011), water receding over 12 to 16 month period) 1 share bore.
