How bad is traffic and traffic noise on CHurch Street

Hi we are looking at purchasing an apartment on Church Street in Hunters Hill. I love Hunters HIll but I am worried about the noise from traffic along CHurch Street. Does anyone know how bad it gets and if there is any quiet times at night or on weekends?
Also is there a sense of community on the street?
