Reviews of Hurstbridge, VIC

"Good Little Town"

As long as you are alright with a long train ride or car ride towards the city then this place is great. It's quite quiet but not in a bad way. There's a couple shops nearby so you don't need to go the town over too often. Gives you a taste of country without being as far out.

"A small country feel where life is good. Lovely people, nice shops with local operators. Fabulous food options. Love the lifestyle here."

A country feel with sufficient amenities. Local people shop here to support local small businesses. A great happy vibe with friendly people. Not many properties become available that often.

"Great Community, unspoilt (so far) by development"

Great place to live, great community.

The single track railway keeps Hurstbridge from turning into just another suburb.
This along with its passionate community enables Hurstbridge to maintain its semi rural feel. (Just a shame it seems we have a council that is determined to try and destroy this by allowing inappropriate sub-division and development)

People are very friendly and Community minded with a diverse socio-economic mix.

Primary schools include both Hurstbridge Primary and Hurstbridge Learning Co-op, both excellent schools in different ways

Good mix of Cafes, shops and Restaurants

"Great village atmosphere!"

We moved to Hurstbridge nearly 4 years ago now and have loved the small village feel that Hurstbridge has. We commute to the city everyday for work and love the minute we drive back in the village. The community is friendly and the open space is a great palce to bring up kids or even retire away from burbs.

"Great village with a strong community feel"

Hurstbridge is a delightful place to live, with rural a feel but close enough to commute to the city. It's quiet, beautiful and safe. The primary school is excellent.
