Hyde Park's Franklin Delano High School has a strong sports program and there is depth in the diversity of sports offered to boys and girls. Articles in the Poughkeepsie Journal and other local news reports suggest that the school has a strong presence in tennis and basketball; it was remarkably good a boys' soccer in the recent past. On the whole my impression is that Hyde Park's high school has an above average sports program.
