What is the deal with the big vacant lot on Parker and Ney Avenue. Was there a landslide?

I'm not sure, but that spot is right on the Hayward Fault and you can see the results of creep along the fault on that street. Maybe that has something to do with it?

I think its an oasis, a great developement waiting to happen. I lived there and now that I dont I really miss it. Great place to live

I don't think it was a landslide but you might try using the Google Earth and look at the historical images--they often go back 20 years or so so that would give you sense of what happened there. Good luck!
