Jerrabomberra has had good growth over the last 10 years and it continues to grow when other areas in the area including ACT have declined over the last 3. I think it will continue.

The median prices for the last 3 years were 2011 $565,000 (259 sales), 2012 $593,000 (229 sales) and 2013 $590,000 (131 sales YTD). There has been an increase in the number of sales with an average of 25 a month for the last 3 months but it is slowing with 11 sold in the last 4 weeks. This seasonal but may also be due to the forthcoming election and should pick up in spring after the election when stability is back. The make up of most of the Jerrabomberra area employment is the Public Service in Canberra, particularly those working in Defence.

It is a popular area with the attraction of being a great community, great schooling and services, close proximity to Canberra but the value for money for homes is a stand out with comparison to Canberra suburbs.

It was also in the financial review last year (23-24 June) as topping the list of Australia's wealthiest suburbs with the highest median weekly income of households in Australia.
