Reviews of Kapunda, SA
"Quiet township with great history!"
Great community based town, everyone is happy to have a chat and introduce themselves. Tuesday nights are great for the pool player or poker player in the area.
This town is full of history and the locals love to share it through their museums and haunted tours.
Four pubs, ample cafes, quirky little businesses, great bakery, decent sized Foodland and hardware store, also have the option between two service stations.

"Enjoying the quiet life"
We moved to Kapunda nearly 3 years ago and have been welcomed into the Kapunda community. The locals have been very friendly and supportive of us as we have established ourselves and a business in the town.
Kapunda has 2 supermarkets, 4 pubs, post office, chemist, hospital, hardware shop etc which provide essential services to the town. However if you need to shop out of town, it is only a 20 minutes to the Barossa Valley and 30 minutes to Gawler Kapunda is only 1 1/2 hours from Adelaide CBD.
Kapunda has a primary and a high school. There is also access to private schools in Eudunda and the Barossa.

Yes I think we need something like that a friendly seven days a week restaurant bar and live music probably go really well
"Lovely place to call home"
I lived in Kapunda for 13 yrs. There is no better place to raise you children. With such a sense of community you feel safe letting your children walk down the street to buy a carton of milk.
Kapunda is within easy distance to the Barossa Valley, the Clare Valley and Adelaide.....or to nip into Gawler to do some shopping! A nice little town to take the dog for a walk around or a picnic at the duck pond. I would describe Kapunda as secure, friendly and peaceful.

"A country town where everyone knows your name"
Kapunda is situated 80 kilometres north of Adelaide, and is nestled between the wine regions of Clare and Barossa Valleys.
Kapunda has number of grand old stone homes, once funded by the town's thriving copper industry, and is circled by farming properties
With a population of around 3,000, Kapunda has a true sense of community, largely due to the area's strong commitment to the local football and netball teams which compete in the norther competition for the region.
The town has a number of services, including a good range of shops, services, restaurants and pubs, as well as a local primary and high school.
