I'm a student at MLC currently, and I'd say yes, definitely. The teachers care a lot about your education and try their best to help you. There are many opportunities in the school and the Star Cafe is great, although with the COVID-19 situation, we're doing school online at home.

I've got to be honest here and say, there are a few "popular" girls there who aren't so kind and go out of their way to pick on other students. During year 7, I experienced this, although I realised the importance of standing up for myself and developing a thick skin. In the later years, things seem to settle, as everyone cares more about their education. There are some nice kids too, you just need to find the right crowd.

The money is worth it. If you strive to do your best and study hard, your academic results will be amazing. The school focuses a little too much on sports (or that's just me being un-athletic) although it's overall ok.

It's a large school, overwhelming at first. When I started in year 7, I got lost a few times. I still get lost to this day, although I do have a terrible sense of direction, so your children would most likely be fine.

The food is great, though, and I highly recommend you send your children there. It might not be the place to develop extremely strong friendships, although you get a great education and everyone gets the same opportunity.
