Where has the Kew dancing man gone?

Hi guys!

StreetAdvisor wrote a piece about the Dancing Man in Kew Junction at the start of the year, and as I was driving past this morning it hit me that I haven't seen him in AGES!

Here is the article:

I hope nothing bad has happened to him, I loved driving past and seeing him.

Does anyone know what happened or has seen him lately?

I drive past Whitehorse and Balwyn roads intersection regularly and used to see him often but lately (last 3 months) have noticed he has dissappeared also. Maybe he finally retired! (Or put out his back)

I saw him a couple of weeks ago, at his spot outside the pub at the junction!

I would be fascinated to know what kind of music he listens to! What could get someone to do this every day.

He is a HUGE Rolling Stones fan.

His name is Robin and he is a gentle soul.

Spoke to Robin the' Dancing man of Kew' Yesterday.
I asked him were he been hiding and he said at home as it has been cold.
Looks like the sunshine has brought Robin back out for some dancing .

I love the idea of a statue, I know he used to put a smile on my face everytime I drove past.
